Laura Walker

Laura started her career in practise at Deloitte qualifying in 2009 before joining ASDA back in 2010. Laura’s career at ASDA has seen her cover a multitude of roles, from core accounting and internal audit to commercial finance. Her most recent roles have been leading the Asda Finance Shared Services team with over 140 colleagues before starting her role leading Finance Transformation back in July this year. A true model for flexible working, Laura has worked a variety of patterns since returning from having children and has been job sharing with Chloe since the beginning of the year. She is passionate about driving the people agenda and encouraging innovation and agile ways of working. Outside of work, Laura is a sports fanatic, using her free time to pursue her ambition to become a triathlete.
