1. Who are GENCFO?

Our community was founded in 2009, in the early days of digital finance transformation.

Chris Argent, an accounting professional who had been through several transformation programmes with leading-edge corporations, established GENCFO on LinkedIn, initially as a means of sharing his knowledge and expertise with his peers.

Today, GENCFO has over 100,000 members and is the world’s largest community of its kind for finance professionals.

Our members come to us for relevant and ground-breaking knowledge, connections and content, as well as events and experiences built on the same accessibility, collaboration and rule-breaking informality that has always defined us.


2. I'm a Community Member, do I pay to attend the GENCFO Academy?

No, members do not have to pay to join the Academy, they can access all three days of the Academy and replays. They will receive a ticket coupon from the Community Success Manager. Not a member? Learn more

3. When is the GENCFO Academy?

GENCFO Academy takes place virtually from Tuesday 5th November till Thursday 7th November 2024.

4. How many sessions can I attend?

You can attend as many live sessions as you want!

5. Do I need to choose all the sessions?

No, you can choose what sessions you would like to participate in.

Remember these sessions are to help you progress in your digital finance journey, so pick the most relevant sessions for you!

6. Do I need to attend all the sessions?

If you cannot attend an event and you have purchased our replay & Pro Membership ticket, do not worry, you will be able to access these training sessions on demand via the GENCFO community platform.

If you have chosen the live ACCESS ticket, unfortunately, if you miss the session, you will not be able to watch on-demand

If you upgrade your package, you will be able to access ALL sessions whenever you would like. 

7. Will there be breaks during the day?

Yes, there will be plenty of opportunities for you to have a break. At the end of each session, there will be a chance for you to step away from your screen, and there is also an hour for you to take lunch.

Remember, if you have paid for the Live & On-Demand or Membership+ ticket, anything you miss you will be able to catch up with on-demand.

8. How do I gain access to the recordings?
All sessions will be uploaded 2 days after the session, and GENCFO will send you an email when you can view these recordings via our community platform

9. How do I claim my CPD certificate?

GENCFO will contact you shortly after the event on how you can access your certificate of attendance via the main GENCFO website.

10. Can I invite my colleagues?

Yes, please do, all we ask is that you invite people who want to progress on their digital finance journey - we are all in it together!

11. Can I upgrade my ticket?

Yes, you can upgrade your ticket at any time, please contact us below and we will sort that out for you.
