1. Who are GENCFO?

GENCFO has over 100,000 members and is the world’s largest founder-led community of its kind for accounting and finance professionals.

Our community was founded in 2009 by Chris Argent in the early days of digital finance transformation.

Chris had experienced transformation programmes with leading corporations including Amazon, Vodafone and John Lewis. So, he established a LinkedIn group called Generation CFO to share his expertise.

He was driven by a belief that conventional finance spaces weren’t fit for purpose in the digital world. That’s why he created an environment where professionals could access continuous and collaborative learning and acquire real-life skills. 

Today, our members come to us for ground-breaking content, live and online events and experiences built on the same accessibility, collaboration and rule-breaking informality that has always defined us.

2. What is GENCFO Academy?

Our GENCFO Academy consists of two days of live virtual content, providing informative sessions delivered by inspirational industry-leaders. The Academy is a festival of learning to help you on your Digital Finance Function journey through CPD Accredited sessions.

3. When is the GENCFO Academy?

GENCFO Academy takes place virtually on Tuesday 8th November and Wednesday 9th November 2022.

4. How many sessions can I attend?

The amount of sessions you can attend depends on the pass you buy:

- Tuesday or Wednesday Pass: Access to all the sessions and replays of the day of your choice, remember this pass does not include the Masterclasses

- Two Day Pass: Access to all sessions and replays, including Masterclasses

5. Do I need to attend all the sessions?

No, you can pick and choose what sessions you would like to take part in. Remember these sessions are to help you progress in your digital finance function journey, so whatever session you want to join, go for it!

6. What do I do if I can not attend the event?

If you cannot attend an event and you have purchased a Day Pass or All Access Pass, do not worry, you will be able to access sessions on demand.

7. Will there be breaks during the day?

Yes, there will be plenty of opportunities for you to have a break. At the end of each session, there will be a chance for you to step away from your screen, and there is also an hour for you to take lunch.

Remember, with the Day Pass or All Access Pass, anything you miss you will be able to catch up with on-demand.

8. How do I gain access to the recordings?

Please use your login to the GENCFO Academy page to gain access to the recordings.

All sessions will be uploaded 2 days after the session, and GENCFO will send you an email when you can view these recordings.

9. Can I invite my colleagues?

Yes, please do, all we ask is that you invite people who want to progress their digital finance function journey - we are all in it together!

10. Can I upgrade my ticket?

Yes, you can upgrade your ticket at any time. Please contact us and we'll happily sort that out for you.
